My work deconstructs the phenomelogical existentialism– Nah, just kidding.

I love to tell stories. Sweeping adventures, or tiny interpersonal dramas? I’m game!
Because clay is not exactly the best medium to create a 5-act screenplay, I focus on showing a single moment, suspended in time forever. As if someone hit the pause button.

My work is always a bit contradictory. The scenes are both tragic and beautiful, funny and scary etc. Very artistic, if I might say so. Whatever the mood, though, all my sculptures are about people: Their dreams, their fears, and the sometimes complex relationships they have with others. If that topic doesn’t give me a lifetime of inspiration, I don’t know what does. And I was told by the Internet School of Art Business (I totally made that up just now), you should always plan ahead. So there you have it.
